The CBD and the tight ring of suburbs around it - older Queenslanders, apartment blocks and warehouse conversions, where a dead animal is almost always in a roof cavity or a wall.

From Chermside out to the airport corridor and the northern creeks. Big roof spaces, mature trees and a lot of possum traffic - the most common callout on this side of the river.

The largest of the Brisbane pockets, running from the river south to the Logan boundary. Post-war homes with sub-floor voids, and plenty of rat and possum work.

The eastern suburbs and the bay foreshore. Salt air, flat roofs and gutter runs - dead bird callouts are far more common here than anywhere else we work.

The leafy western suburbs out towards Kenmore and the river bends. Large blocks, heavy tree cover and sub-floor spaces that possums treat as an open invitation.

North from Brisbane through Caboolture, Redcliffe and Bribie Island. A mix of coastal housing and acreage, which means everything from birds in vents to livestock on paddocks.

The Redland Coast from Capalaba through to the bay. Bushland edges and wildlife corridors on one side, established suburbs on the other.

Logan City from Springwood down to Beenleigh and out to the rural fringe. Dense newer estates and older homes side by side, with rodent work leading the callouts.

Ipswich and the western corridor. Heritage Queenslanders with generous sub-floor space, and a lot of newer estates pushing into what used to be paddock.

The Brisbane Valley and the Somerset townships. Rural properties, dams and sheds - large animal removal is a bigger part of the work out here.

Beaudesert, Boonah and the country in between. Acreage, farmland and national park boundaries, where wildlife and livestock callouts are the norm.

The full coast strip and the hinterland behind it. High-rise, canal estates and bushland suburbs - three very different jobs, often on the same day.

Caloundra through to Coolum and back into the hinterland ranges. Humid, heavily vegetated, and the fastest decomposition conditions we work in.

Noosa Heads, Tewantin and the hinterland villages. National park on the doorstep, which is exactly why wildlife ends up in roof spaces here.
